action

Bathing director Carl Costa had documents and a pin in the shape of a bull's head stolen. Stuart Webbs is then hired. The next day, both Costa and the company treasury are gone. Webbs finds out that a certain Fernando Delvar is behind the proceedings. Because Costa was really the Marquis of Saldanha, and Delvar murdered him just like his own wife Ines before. Both had to disappear because the villain is after Saldanha's daughter Maria (and with it the family fortune). After the violent death of his wife and the Marquis, the murderer planned to force Maria into marriage. Webbs can thwart this and prevent further atrocities from Delvar.
