action

This time Stuart Webbs has to do with inheritance disputes in a southern family. Juanita Vernetto refuses her cousin Rolando an inheritance to which he claims. This is so angry that he comes up with all sorts of horror scenarios to teach you better.

Rolando tries to give her a poisoned apple, smuggles a snake into her and finally takes her captive in order to force her to surrender the inheritance. Gentleman detective Webbs has to intervene and can convince Juanita to comply with Rolando's legitimate claims.

The ghost hunt is the 21st film in this series and was shot in the spring of 1918 in the Stuart Webbs film studio in Berlin-Weißensee .
