The pearls of Dr. Talmadge is a German detective film from 1924 in the Stuart Webbs film series . Ernst Reicher plays the title role .
action
A gang of burglars lures Stuart Webbs out of his house because the crooks need his domicile for a villain piece. The plan is to lure a young heiress of jewels there so that she can be ambushed by believing Webbs to be met. As always, Webbs intervenes at the last moment and can neutralize the gang and give the heiress, who has meanwhile become engaged to a co-heir, back the stolen clunkers.
Production notes
The pearls of Dr. Talmadge passed the film censorship on July 30, 1924 and was premiered in January 1925 in the Schauburg . The six-act film was 2180 meters long and was banned from young people.
The film was shot in the Geiselgasteig studios. Max Heilbronner created the buildings.

In Paimann's film lists it can be read: "The subject is worked in an interesting way, with cheerful intermezzo, excitingly staged and accentuated by a good presentation. Presentation and photography are good."
