Stuart Webbs is hired to investigate a number of hotel break-ins. When suddenly a murder occurs in this environment, the case becomes explosive for him. The Secret of an Hour was filmed in the early autumn of 1925 in the Geiselgasteig studio near Munich. The film passed censorship on November 17, 1925 and was banned from young people. The premiere took place on February 4, 1926 in the Schauburg. The six-act film was 1974 meters long.
