Dirty South (* 1978 in Belgrade ; actually Dragan Roganović ) is an Australian remixer , DJ and music producer in the field of house and electro-house .
Life
Dragan Roganović was born in Belgrade in 1978 and moved to Melbourne , Australia at the age of 13 . His music career began with remixes and mashups that he produced by other artists. His first official production was released in 2004 and a year later he finally got his first record deal with the Australian music label Vicious Vinyl .
In 2006, his remix of Evermore 's “It's Too Late” reached number one on the Australian club charts. While he was initially mainly known for his remixes, he soon had some success with his own productions, such as the single "Let It Go", which was released in 2007 on Axwell's label Axtone Records . Nevertheless, Dirty South is best known for his remixes and has produced remixes for U2 , Snoop Dogg , Depeche Mode , David Guetta and the Pussycat Dolls , among others . In 2008 and 2011 he was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Remix ( Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical ).
2009 Dirty South was in the choice of 100 DJs Top of DJ Mag ranked 59, 2010, he again reached the list of the best DJs in the world ranked 75th
