Dominik Reiter (born January 4, 1998 in Grieskirchen ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Reiter began his career at SV Schlüßlberg . For the 2009/10 season he moved to the youth team at SV Grieskirchen . He came to AKA Linz for the 2012/13 season . In October 2014 he also played against FC Wels for the first time for his regular club Grieskirchen in the Upper Austrian League . He scored his first goal in the fourth division in May 2015 in a 5-0 win against UFC Eferding .

From the winter break of the season 2015/16 he came alongside his work in Grieskirchen and Linz's academy as a cooperative player for the amateurs of LASK used. He made his debut for this in the regional league in March 2016, when he was in the starting line-up against FC Blau-Weiß Linz on matchday 17 of that season and was replaced by Arlind Hamzaj in the 82nd minute. In the same month he also scored his first regional alligator in a 1-0 win against USV Allerheiligen . By the end of the season he made ten appearances in the regional league for LASK Juniors and three for Grieskirchen in the OÖ league.

For the 2016/17 season he was permanently signed by LASK. In October 2016, he made his professional debut in the second division when he came on as a substitute for Rajko Rep in the 68th minute against SC Wiener Neustadt on matchday 14 of that season . By the end of the season, he made seven appearances for the professionals in the second-highest division and 18 for the juniors in the regional league. With the professionals, he rose to the Bundesliga at the end of the season .

He made his debut in the top division in July 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Alexander Riemann in the 75th minute of the second match day of the 2017/18 season against FC Red Bull Salzburg . By the end of the season he made 17 appearances in the Bundesliga, in which he remained without scoring. He also made eleven appearances for the Juniors in the Regionalliga, in which he scored four goals. With the Juniors he rose to the second division at the end of the season.

For the 2018/19 season, Reiter moved to the second division club SC Wiener Neustadt . In August 2018 he scored his first second division goal in a 1-1 draw against SC Austria Lustenau . By the end of the season he made 19 appearances for the Lower Austrians, in which he scored five goals. However, the club's approval for the 2nd division was withdrawn in spring 2019 and Wiener Neustadt was relegated to the regional league.

After the forced relegation of Wiener Neustadt, he returned to LASK for the 2019/20 season. First, however, he was used for the farm team FC Juniors OÖ .

National team

Reiter played five games for the Austrian U-19 selection between September 2016 and March 2017 .
