Yevhen Ihorowytsch Tscheberko ( Ukrainian Євген Ігорович Чеберко ; born January 23, 1998 in Melitopol ) is a Ukrainian football player .

Career

society

Cheberko started his career at FK Dnipro . In July 2016 he made his debut for the Dnipro pros in Premjer-Liha when he came on as a substitute for Yuri Wakulko in the 87th minute against Wolyn Lutsk on the first matchday of the 2016/17 season . In April 2017, he scored his first goal in the top Ukrainian league in a 1-0 win against Lutsk. By the end of the season he came to 14 missions in the Premjer-Liha, in which he was able to score two goals. At the end of the season he had to relegate Dnipro from this due to high point deductions.

Then Cheberko moved to the first division side Zorya Luhansk for the 2017/18 season . For the Europa League participant, he did not appear internationally that season, in the league he played ten games. In the 2018/19 season he failed with Sorja in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League in the playoff at RB Leipzig , but Tscheberko did not play again. In the Premjer-Liha he came to 16 missions in that season, in which he remained without a goal.

As in the previous season, he failed with Sorja Luhansk in the playoffs in the 2019/20 season in a qualification for the Europa League, this time at Espanyol Barcelona . In contrast to the previous season, however, Cheberko was set as a regular player and made his debut at international club level in the second round first leg against FK Budućnost Podgorica .

For the 2020/21 season he moved to Austria to LASK , where he received a contract that ran until June 2024.

National team

Cheberko played at least six times for the Ukrainian U-17 squad between 2014 and 2015 . From 2015 to 2016 he was used for the U-18 team . In October 2016 he played against Iceland for the U-19 team for the first time .

In June 2017, he made his debut against Montenegro for the Ukraine U-21 team . From June 2019 he acted as captain of the U-21 of Ukraine.
