Reinhold Ranftl (born January 24, 1992 in Feldbach ) is an Austrian football player . He plays on the position of a right midfielder at LASK .
Career
society
Ranftl began his career at SCU Kapfenstein in Styria . In 2005 he moved to UFC Fehring , where he was brought into the first team in 2008 as a 16-year-old. He played a total of three seasons in the Styrian national league, the fourth highest Austrian division, where he made his debut on May 25, 2008 against SVU St. Lambrecht. Ranftl came to 47 missions and four goals with the Fehringers .
In 2010 he moved to the second team of SK Sturm Graz , where he immediately became a regular in the Regionalliga Mitte team. He made his first competitive game on August 7, 2010 against SV Feldkirchen , when he came on for Stefan Stangl in the 65th minute . The game was lost 2: 3. After two good seasons in the amateurs, he was brought into the first team squad in 2013 and made his Bundesliga debut under coach Markus Schopp on 11 May 2013 against FC Admira Wacker Mödling , as he, after 83 minutes Florian Kainz came on . The away game in the Südstadt ended with a 3-0 defeat.
After being loaned out to TSV Hartberg in the second half of the 2013/14 season , he moved to SC Wiener Neustadt in the summer of 2014 .
In the summer of 2015 he moved to LASK in the Upper Austrian capital . With LASK, he was promoted to the Bundesliga in 2017 .
National team
Ranftl completed a game for the Austrian U-17 team against Estonia in May 2008 . In November 2019 he was nominated for the first time for the senior national team to replace the injured Alessandro Schöpf . He made his debut for this in November 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Stefan Ilsanker in the 77th minute of the European Championship qualification against Latvia .
