The Donauried area is a European bird sanctuary (protected area identifier DE-7624-441) in the south-east of the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, which was designated by ordinance of November 20, 2007 by the Tübingen regional council .

The bird sanctuary "Donauried" is one of the most important large-scale fen areas in southern Germany , its small, extensively used grassland with interspersed bushes, hedges and individual trees make the "Donauried" a valuable habitat for meadow breeders .
