At the EHF Cup 1995/96 36 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who had qualified in the previous season in their home leagues for the competition. It was the 15th edition of the EHF Cup or the IHF Cup. The cup games began on September 1, 1995, the second final took place on April 28, 1996. In the final, BM Granollers from Spain was able to defend his title against the Ukrainian club Shakhtar Akademiya Donetsk.
