The Saarland Honorary League 1949/50 was the top division for Saarland football clubs in Saarland , which is independent of Germany, and was played with a total of twelve teams. The Saarland Football Association (SFB) took over the organization .

The Saarland champions were Sportfreunde 05 Saarbrücken ahead of last year's winner from VfB Neunkirchen . While the newcomers from SV Mittelbexbach and SC Friedrichsthal secured relegation, FV 08 Püttlingen relegated to the second-class probation class Saar at the end of the season.
