The  Saarland Amateur Football League 1961/62  was the 11th season of the Saarland Amateur League , the predecessor of the Saarland Association League . This league represented the substructure of the II. Southwest Division until 1963 and was thus third-class in the overall league hierarchy.

The Saarland champion was the SV Fraulautern . In the promotion round to the II. Southwest Division occupied Fraulautern third place, which did not qualify for promotion. The FG Heiligenwald , the SpVgg Altenwald and the VfB Dillingen had to relegate to the district league after this season. For the following season 1962/63 came the SV Blieskastel and the FV Diefflen as promoted from the district league, and the ASC Dudweiler as relegated from the II. Division.
