The 1961/62 season was the sixth season of the third-class Verbandsliga Westfalen . Arminia Bielefeld became champion and climber . VfL Altenbögge , ESV Münster and TSG Rheda were relegated from Group 1, and TBV Mengede from Group 2 and Sportfreunde Neheim . The SpVgg Erkenschwick rose from the II. West Division . From the national leagues rose to Group 1 Prussia Hochlarmark and TBV Lemgo and Group 2 from TuS Eving-Lindenhorst , TuS Iserlohn and SV Langendreer 04 .
