Group 2

The championship was partly decided at the Green Table . SV Holzwickede protested against the 1-0 defeat at VfB Altena, as the referee broke the rules and one of the two linesmen came from Lüdenscheid , the city of Holzwickedes' biggest competitor. A replay was scheduled that ended goalless. On the last day of the match Lüdenscheid lost the home game against Holzwickede 2: 3, so that both teams ended the season tied. Teutonia Lippstadt moved to Group 1 for the 1976/77 season.

Playoffs against relegation

Playoffs of the fourth from bottom

The last two identified a possible seventh relegation from the Westphalia Association as a precautionary measure in the first and second leg. The games took place on May 23 and 29, 1976. Beckum prevailed athletically. Since two Westphalian teams were relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga and SC Herford was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga, the playoffs were meaningless and both teams remained in the association league.
