The Eisenbachwiesen nature reserve is located in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 200 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1981 , extends east of the municipality of Meudt directly on the state road L 300 , which passes on the northern edge . The B 8 runs along the eastern edge of the area . The Eisenbach and the Herschbach flow through the area.

The protection purpose is the preservation of the wet meadows as a location for rare plants and as a habitat for rare animal species that are threatened, in particular bird species and butterflies, for scientific reasons.
