The juniper heather near Westernohe is a nature reserve in the Westerwaldkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate . The 14 hectare area is located in the northeast of the local community Westernohe, which belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Rennerod .

1967 Asked protected heathland is grazed twice a year with sheep and mowed regularly to an encroachment forestall. The plants that are found include arnica , beavers , heather and finger herbs .
