Elitserien (chess) 2017/18
The Elitserien (chess) 2017/18 was the 30th season of the Elitserien , the top division in Swedish team chess . The champions were the team from Malmö AS , which won all competitions, while the defending champion SK Team Viking had to be content with third place. From the Superettan were Stockholms Schacksällskapet and Upsala ASS ascended. While Stockholm achieved relegation, Upsala and Kungstornet had to relegate again, and Malmö AS and SK Team Viking withdrew their teams after the season.

Game dates
The competitions took place from October 20 to 22, 2017, on January 13, February 3 and 24 and from March 16 to 18, 2018, although two competitions of the fourth round only took place on February 16 and two competitions of the The fifth round was only played on February 17, 2018, while a sixth round competition took place on February 4 and two on February 18. The first three rounds were organized centrally in Lund , the last three in Lidingö .
