Elsenreith is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 46 building areas with 21,087 m² and 30 gardens on 39,698 m² in the cadastral community of Elsenreith , in 1989/1990 there were 52 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 116 and in 2009/2010 there were 91 buildings on 192 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 338 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 160 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 327 hectares and 165 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 309 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 165 hectares. The average soil climate number of Elsenreith is 19.5 (as of 2010).
