Hörans is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 7 building areas with 4,074 m² and 3 gardens on 4,564 m² in the cadastral community of Höran , in 1989/1990 there were 10 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 16 and in 2009/2010 there were 9 buildings on 18 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 70 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 48 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 65 hectares and 52 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 61 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 55 hectares. The average soil climate number of Hörans is 28.4 (as of 2010).
