Teichmanns is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 7 building areas with 6,044 m² and 10 gardens on 7,988 m² in the cadastral community Teichmanns , in 1989/1990 there were 7 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 38 and in 2009/2010 there were 14 buildings on 28 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 75 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 95 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 72 hectares and 96 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 68 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 99 hectares. The average soil climate number of Teichmanns is 21.7 (as of 2010).
