Trittings is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

The scattered settlement is located a little south of the L78 state road on a small hill.

history

After the founding of the political communities in Lower Austria in the middle of the 19th century, the village and cadastral community initially belonged to the political community of Gschwendt .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 14 building areas with 6,118 m² and 13 gardens on 14,518 m² in the cadastral community of Trittings , in 1989/1990 there were 14 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 66 and in 2009/2010 there were 33 buildings on 64 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 99 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 107 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 93 hectares and 112 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 91 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 112 hectares. The average floor climate of Trittings is 25.2 (as of 2010).
