Leopolds is a locality and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 12 building areas with 6,540 m² and 7 gardens on 5,738 m² in the cadastral community of Leopolds , in 1989/1990 there were 11 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 34 and in 2009/2010 there were 19 buildings on 34 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 94 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 10 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 92 hectares and 11 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 89 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 12 hectares. The Leopolds' average soil climate number is 22.7 (as of 2010).
