Voirans is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Kottes-Purk in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 9 building areas with 6,170 m² and 7 gardens on 3,967 m² in the cadastral municipality of Voirans , in 1989/1990 there were 9 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 46 and in 2009/2010 there were 25 buildings on 38 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 106 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 348 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 101 hectares and 352 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 96 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 352 hectares. The average soil climate number of Voirans is 20.1 (as of 2010).
