She finished school in 2009 and has since completed a distance learning course at Athabasca University .

Career

Lunder competed in her first international races at the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2009 in Oberhof , where she was lapped sixth with Megan Tandy , Matt and Aaron Neumann in the relay, 31st of the sprint and in the pursuit race on rollerskiing . In winter, the Junior World Championships 2010 followed in Torsby , in which Lunder was 30th of the individual, 47th of the sprint and 34th of the pursuer. Later in the year she took part in the 2010 Junior North American Championships in Canmore and was third in the pursuit behind Libbi Longworth and Julia Ransom . At the Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě Lunder was 52nd of the individual, 31st of the pursuit, 38th of the pursuit and with Audrey Vaillancourt and Yolaine Oddou eighth of the relay race. In 2013 she started in Kontiolahti for the third time at a Junior World Championship and was 47th of the individual, 39th of the sprint, 44th of the pursuit and with Emma Lodge and Audrey Vaillancourt 14th in the relay competition.

In 2013 Lunder made her debut in the IBU Women 's Cup in Otepää and finished 34th in her first individual, which meant she won her first points straight away. It is also her best position in the racing series so far. A week later, she won her first race in the NorAm Cup with a sprint in Valcartier ahead of Claude Godbout and Julia Ransom . In the pursuit race that followed, she dropped to third place. The first international championship for women was the 2013 European Championships in Bansko , where she was lapped 39th in the individual, 42nd in the sprint and in the pursuit race. With the lapped season, which included Audrey Vaillancourt, Emma Lodge and Kathryn Stone in addition to Lunder , she was eighth. A better placement also prevented Lunder's poor shooting performance with three penalties in prone. After the 2014 Winter Olympics from Sochi she moved into the Canadian World Cup team, winning as 30 in Pokljuka on their first use in the highest racing series in a sprint the first World Cup points.

Nationally Lunder won 2011 in Charlo with Scott Gow and Aaron Gillmor as relay Alberta I the title in the juniors, in singles behind Yolaine Oddou silver and behind Oddou and Vaillancourt in sprint and pursuit bronze. At the youth championships the year before in Canmore, she won the title in the pursuit and was second in sprint and individual.
