Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis (born November 15, 1997 in Yola ), also known as Emmanuel Bonaventure , is a Nigerian football player who has been under contract with the Belgian first division club Bruges since summer 2017 . The striker has been a Nigerian international since September 2019 .

In March 2016, Emmanuel Dennis moved from the Nigerian Accademia di Abuja to the Ukraine to join the first division side Zorya Luhansk . He made his first-team debut on July 24, 2016 in a 3-0 home win against Olimpik Donetsk , in which he also scored one goal. During the entire 2016/17 season , Dennis scored six times in 22 league games.

On May 30, 2017, the Nigerian moved to the Belgian first division club FC Brugge for a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros , where he signed a four-year contract. He also scored for his new club on his debut when he scored two goals in a 4-0 away win against KSC Lokeren . At the end of the 2017/18 season , the striker had scored 12 goals in 38 games across all competitions, prepared five more and won the Belgian championship title with the club. In the 2018/19 season Dennis scored ten points in 32 competitive games, and he was also the Belgian Supercup winner with Bruges . At the beginning of September 2019, the Nigerian received a contract extension until June 2022. On October 1, 2019, he scored both of his team's goals in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League . In this Division 1A 2019/20 he scored five goals in 20 league games and won the Belgian championship with Bruges.

On September 10, 2019, Dennis made his debut in a 2-2 draw in a friendly against Ukraine for the A-selection when he came on for Samuel Chukwueze in the 82nd minute of the game .
