Erika Pelikowsky
Erika Pelikowsky (born January 18, 1916 in Vienna ; † February 21, 1990 there ) was an Austrian actress .
Life
Erika Pelikowsky completed her acting training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and has worked at the Vienna Burgtheater since 1939 . After an interlude at the Berlin Schillertheater (1943/44), she returned to Vienna in 1945. There she worked again at the Burgtheater, then at the Volkstheater (1946, master builder Solness by Henrik Ibsen with Albert Bassermann ). After all, she was part of the ensemble of the Wiener Neue Theater in der Scala, which opened in 1948 .
When Wolfgang Langhoff engaged most of the actors at the Deutsches Theater in East Berlin after the Neue Scala was closed , she stayed in East Berlin until the end of the GDR, where she later performed with Bertolt Brecht's Berliner Ensemble .
In addition to theater roles, Pelikowsky became popular through numerous roles in DEFA feature films and television films. Erika Pelikowsky-Heinz is the mother of Gabriele Heinz and was the wife of Wolfgang Heinz .
She rests in the Adlershof cemetery in Berlin.
