The Association for Sponsoring Agencies and Service Providers eV (FASPO) is a German lobby organization . It was founded in 1996 in Frankfurt am Main and is now based in Hamburg .

aims

The company's own objective is the professionalization of sponsorship and its profiling through category marketing in the fields of culture, public, sport and media. The umbrella organization represents the interests of around 60 member companies. These include sponsorship providers (rights holders and rights marketers) agencies, sponsors and service providers. As a trade association, the Sponsoring Association represents the interests of its members in relation to politics, business, the media and society in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The association has been a member of the Central Association of the German Advertising Industry and the Association of Swiss Advertising since 2003 and designs the political, legal and tax framework for sponsoring in Germany and in the EU. FASPO is listed as an interest group in lobby registers in Brussels and Berlin.

As an umbrella organization, the association works as a Joint Industry Committee, i.e. in the consensus of all market partners in the sponsoring industry. The opinion-forming of the interest groups within the FASPO takes place in working groups or marketing platforms. The association is responsible for shaping the framework conditions for the sponsorship industry in German-speaking countries.

The association develops and sets the quality standards for the professionalization of the sponsoring industry.
