Federico Chiesa (born October 25, 1997 in Genoa ) is an Italian football player . The striker is currently under contract with Fiorentina . He is the son of Enrico Chiesa .

Career

In the club

Chiesa worked in the youth department of Fiorentina until 2016 and was taken over by coach Paulo Sousa in the professional squad for the 2016/17 season . Chiesa made his Serie A debut on August 20, 2016, the first match day, when he was in the starting line-up of the Viola team in the 2-1 defeat by Juventus Turin .

In the national team

Chiesa played from the U19 for Italian youth teams . On March 24, 2018, he made his debut for the Italian national team in Manchester against Argentina .
