Kevin Diks (born October 6, 1996 in Apeldoorn ) is a Dutch football player who is mostly used as a right full-back. He is under contract with the Serie A club Fiorentina .

Career

He rose to the 2014/15 season in the first team of Vitesse Arnhem and made his debut in the Eredivisie on August 24, 2014. In the 1: 2 defeat against PEC Zwolle , he was used by coach Peter Bosz over the entire season. He scored his first goal for Vitesse Arnheim on October 4, 2015 in a 5-0 win against FC Groningen . In the 61st minute he made it 2-0.

In the summer of 2016 he was signed by Fiorentina and signed a contract with the Italians until June 30, 2021. In the 5-3 win against Cagliari Calcio , he was substituted on by coach Paulo Sousa in the 88th minute for Cristian Tello . Because he was only used one more time, he was loaned to his former club Vitesse Arnheim for the second half of the season. With Arnhem he was able to win the KNVB Cup - the Dutch Cup.

After making eleven league appearances at Vitesse Arnheim, he did not return to Fiorentina, but was loaned out by Dutch champions Feyenoord Rotterdam for the 2017/18 season. He made his debut for Feyenoord in the Johan Cruijff Schaal against his ex-club Vitesse Arnheim. Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst called him into the starting line-up and Feyenoord won the game on penalties. He made his league debut for Rotterdam on August 13, 2017. In the 2-1 win against FC Twente Enschede , he was called up by coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the starting line-up. He played his first international game in the UEFA Champions League on September 26, 2017 . In the 1: 3 defeat against SSC Napoli he was on the field for the entire season.
