Bryan Boulaye Kevin Dabo (born February 18, 1992 in Marseille ) is a Burkinabe - Malian football player who was born in France. The defensive midfielder plays for Fiorentina in Serie A and for the Burkinabe national soccer team .

Club career

Dabo made his professional debut for Montpellier HSC on May 16, 2010 in a 3-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain when he came on for Geoffrey Dernis in the 84th minute . He made his first start against SC Bastia . After a short loan to the Blackburn Rovers in the Football League Championship , for which he did not play a league game, however, he became part of the first team of Montpellier during the 2014/15 season .

In June 2016, Dabo Montpellier's league rivals AS Saint-Étienne and signed one with a four-year contract. The transfer fee was 4 million euros. On September 21, 2016 he made his debut in a 0-0 draw at FC Nantes. In one and a half seasons, however, he did not get beyond the role of a rotation player.

On January 30, 2018, Dabo moved to Fiorentina for a transfer of 3 million euros. He made his Serie A debut on February 18, 2018 in an away match against Atalanta Bergamo that ended 1-1.

National team

Dabo was born in France to a Burkinabe father and a Malian mother. He played for France's U21 national team once in a friendly in 2013.

He later received invitations to the national teams of Mali and Burkina Faso. In 2018 he made his international debut for Burkina Faso.
