Career

society

Eysseric played for several amateur clubs before joining the AS Monaco youth team in 2007 . He made his debut for the professional team of the Monegas on June 23, 2011 in the league cup game against CS Sedan . He scored his first goal in French Ligue 2 on September 16, 2011 in a 1-1 draw against SC Bastia . In his first season as a professional in 2011/12 , he was able to establish himself in the first team. Coach Marco Simone , however, deleted him from the team in mid-January and sent him to the reserve team.

After two appearances at the beginning of the 2012/13 season for Monaco, Valentin Eysseric moved to OGC Nice in a loan shop at the end of August 2012 . On September 2, 2012, he made his Ligue 1 debut in a 1-1 draw against Girondins Bordeaux . In his next outing in the 4-2 home win against Stade Brest , he scored his first goal for Nice. In the following games he consolidated his regular place in the starting line-up and also scored the winning goal in the 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain . In January 2013, OGC Nice permanently secured the services of the winger , who signed a contract until 2017. On March 2013, Eysseric flew in the game against AS Saint-Étienne with a straight red card when he broke his leg in a brutal tackle against Jérémy Clément . He was then punished with an eleven-game suspension, which condemned him to watch for the remainder of the 2012/13 season .

For the 2015/16 season , Valentin Eysseric was loaned to league rivals AS Saint Étienne. In 30 league games he scored six goals and was able to prepare four more. After the end of the season he returned to his home club OGC Nice.

In the following season 2016/17 he had to take a month off from mid-December due to an internal ligament injury. Then he drew attention to himself with strong performances. After his recovery, he scored three goals in the following 15 league games and was also able to prepare six goals.

On August 9, 2017, Eysseric moved to the Italian Serie A club Fiorentina . On the first matchday of the 2017/18 season he made his debut for Viola in the 3-0 away defeat against Inter Milan .

After he did not go beyond sporadic appearances at Fiorentina in the first half of the 2018/19 season , he spent the rest of the season at the French first division club FC Nantes from the end of January 2019 , where he was only used in five league games.

Even after his return he was rarely on duty. That's why he was in January 2020 to the end of season 2019/20 to the league rivals Hellas Verona borrowed.

National team

Eysseric represented his home country in U-19 , U-20 and U-21 selections.
