Pol Mikel Lirola Kosok (born August 13, 1997 in Mollet del Vallès ) is a Spanish football player . The defender is under contract with the US Sassuolo Calcio and is loaned out to Fiorentina .

Career

In the club

Lirola comes from the youth of Espanyol Barcelona and was signed by the Italian first division club Juventus Turin in 2015 . After a season in youth, Lirola was taken over into the men's division. In July 2016 it was awarded to the US Sassuolo Calcio for two years . In the 2016/17 season he played 22 games for Sassuolo. In January 2018, Lirola was permanently signed by Sassuolo. He played in 24 games in the 2017/18 season .

In the national team

Lirola played a game for Spain's U-17 national team in 2013 . He made his debut for Spain's U-21s in September 2017 .
