First Great Western Link was a British railway company . Like First Great Western, it belonged to the First Group and mainly operated local trains in west London .

Trains from London Paddington Station went to Slough , Reading , Didcot , Oxford , Newbury , Bedwyn , Hereford , Worcester , Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick . From Reading, trains crossed the Greater London area around Guildford , Dorking and Gatwick .

Until April 2004 , this concession was owned by Thames Trains . Operations ended on March 31, 2006.
