Fontenay-le-Fleury is a French commune in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Versailles and the canton of Saint-Cyr-l'École .
geography
The community is located six kilometers west of Versailles on the A12 autoroute . 13,503 people live in an area of 543 hectares (as of January 1, 2017). Fontenay-le-Fleury is surrounded by the municipalities of Noisy-le-Roi in the north, Bailly in the north-east, Saint-Cyr-l'École in the east and south-east, Bois-d'Arcy in the south and south-west, Villepreux in the west and Rennemoulin in the Northwest. In addition to the main town of the same name, the small town of Gally also belongs to the municipality.
