Bois-d'Arcy is a French commune in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Versailles and the canton of Saint-Cyr-l'École . The inhabitants are called Arcysia .

The small town is located twelve kilometers west of Versailles at the national road N 12. Covering an area of 548 hectares live 15,142 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017).
