Franziska Beyer

Franziska Beyer (born February 7, 1983 in Dresden ) is a German actress .

Life

After graduating from high school in 2001, she moved to Berlin , where she was involved in the social field and later as a marketing intern at the Berlin Schaubühne . This was followed by two years as a permanent assistant director at the German National Theater in Weimar .

From 2004 she studied acting at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding and played at the Metropol-Theater (Munich) and at the Akademietheater (Munich) . At the theater meeting of German-speaking drama students in Salzburg in 2007 , she won a scene award with the production 7 Doors by Botho Strauss. She received her acting diploma from the Bavarian Theater Academy in 2008.

She began her first permanent engagement in 2008 at the Dresden State Theater . The second engagement from 2009 to 2011 was at the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg . Here she played Ophelia in Simon Solberg's Hamlet production at the Schlossfestspiele and in the German theater performance of Steinbeck's Jenseits von Eden Kate and Abra. From 2011 to 2014 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden . From 2014 to 2018 at the Landestheater Tübingen . Since summer 2018 Franziska Beyer has been working as a freelancer at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart , the Nationaltheater Mannheim and the Theater Tübingen, among others .

Franziska Beyer repeatedly sings chansons, songs, rock-pop evenings and musicals as part of her engagements. She also moderates various chamber concerts and late night programs in the theater.
