Frederik Götz

Frederik Götz (* 1988 in Erlangen ) is a German actor .

Life

Götz grew up in his hometown Erlangen. There he attended the Ohm-Gymnasium , where he was a member of the school's theater group. In 2007 he took part in the theater production Der Drache at the Markgrafentheater Erlangen, directed by Andrea Moses . After graduating from high school, he began studying acting at the Salzburg Mozarteum in March 2009 . In spring 2013 he completed his training there with an acting diploma.

During his training he already worked in smaller roles in productions at the Salzburg Festival (2010 and 2012), at the Theater im KunstQuartier Salzburg (2011; as Aigisthos in Die Orestie , directed by Volker Lösch and in 2012; as Franz in Unschuld by Dea Loher , directed : Schirin Khodadadian) and at the Salzburg State Theater (2011; as “L” in Jugend ohne Gott , director: Carl Philip von Maldeghem).

He had his first permanent engagement in 2013–2014 at the Theater Kiel . There he played u. a. the title role in the children's and youth play Pinocchio (2013), Cassio in Othello (2013-2014; director: Daniel Karasek ), the white rabbit in the children's and youth play Alice in Wonderland (2014) and the title role in the solo piece Judas by Lot Vekemans (2014). In 2014 Götz was scheduled to play Romeo in a musical version of Romeo and Juliet (with music by Rosenstolz ) for the Kiel Summer Theater ; for health reasons, however, he had to give up his role at short notice. In 2015 he was a guest at Theater Kiel as Hilmar Tönnesen in Henrik Ibsen’s play Stützen der Gesellschaft . After his engagement at the Kiel Theater, he initially took a professional break in France before turning to film and television work from mid / end 2015.

Götz has also worked in a number of film and television roles. He had his first television role from March to June 2012 (episode 1393 to episode 1442) for about three months in the RTL series Alles Waswas in the role of the young skater Sebastian "Basti" von Rothenberg, who is a swarm of the series characters Franziska Steinkamp ( Julia Engelmann ) and Melanie Wendt ( Anna-Katharina Fecher ) messes up the love life of the two.

In 2015, after a telephone interview, he received a role in the movie Nirgendwo by director Matthias Starte , which was released in German cinemas in October 2016. In the ensemble film about the feelings of “ Generation Y ”, which focuses on the student Danny ( Ludwig Trepte ), who returns to his hometown after the death of his father, Götz (as “Fresi”) played alongside Dennis Mojen and Ben Münchow one of the friends from the clique at the time. In addition, Götz was in Hungary in 2016 in the role of Luis for the ZDF three-part honey women (with Sonja Gerhardt and Cornelia Gröschel as sisters in the lead roles) in front of the camera.

In January / February 2016, Götz was seen in two films in the ZDF spring television series, which were shot in 2015, each in a small supporting role. In the Inga Lindström television series on ZDF, Götz played the male lead as globetrotter and hotel tester Viktor Olsson in the film Back to Tomorrow , which was first broadcast in December 2016. In January 2018 he was also seen in the male lead in the Rosamunde Pilcher film The Legacy of Our Father , the 140th film in the television series, on ZDF; he played Patrick Yate, the head of a local radio station in Cornwall , which is an environmental scandal on the track. In the television film Chaos-Queens: Adulterers and other innocent lambs (February 2018), which was first broadcast as part of the ZDF “Herzkino” television series , Götz had a supporting role as the aspiring young lawyer Andy, the friend of the young protagonist Lou ( Maria Ehrich ). In the new ZDF “Herzkino” television series Tonio & Julia (first broadcast: April 2018), which was launched in April 2018 and focuses on Oona Devi Liebich as family therapist Julia Schindel and Maximilian Grill as Catholic parish priest Tonio Niederegger, Götz has since played as an Upper Bavarian farmer and carpenter Guido Bender one of the continuous supporting roles. In the Bergdoktor - "Winter Special" (first broadcast: January 2019) Götz played one of the main roles as the young mountain guide Tom, who falls in love with a much older woman in an extreme situation after an avalanche accident . In the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Köln (2020), Götz played suspicious friend Luis Fandel in a double episode, who wants to fulfill his dream of having his own beach lounge together with the daughter of a killed authorized officer.

Götz was a member of a basketball team in his hometown of Erlangen . In his spare time Götz plays the guitar ; occasionally he also composes and writes songs.
