Frontino (in the local dialect: Frontìn ) is an Italian municipality with 288 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Pesaro and Urbino , in the Marche region . The municipality is located about 45 kilometers west-southwest of Pesaro and about 23 kilometers west-northwest of Urbino at the Parco naturale regional del Sasso Simone e Simoncello and belongs to the Comunità montana del Montefeltro and is a member of the association I borghi più belli d'Italia (The most beautiful places in Italy) .
