Tavullia is an Italian municipality with 7900 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) ten kilometers south of the seaside resort of Cattolica near Rimini . The place is 170 meters above sea level. The view extends over Cattolica to the Adriatic Sea .

The neighboring municipalities are Gradara , Mondaino ( RN ), Montecalvo in Foglia , Montegridolfo (RN), Montelabbate , Pesaro , Saludecio (RN), San Giovanni in Marignano (RN) and Vallefoglia .

Personalities

The village is known as the hometown of Valentino Rossi , one of the most successful motorcycle racers in history. In his honor, the speed limit in the local area was reduced from the usual 50 km / h in Italy to 46 km / h, as the starting number 46 is the trademark of Valentino Rossi, with whom he has already won several world titles.
