The municipality of Gausdal in Norway has an area of ​​1190 km² with a north-south extension of 34.5 km and an east-west extension of 57.2 km. Gausdal has 6,106 inhabitants (as of February 27, 2020). The municipality is located in the Fylke Innlandet west of central Gudbrandsdals and is administered by Segalstad bru. Larger settlements in Gausdal are Follebu, Forset and Segalstad bru.
