Georg Denzer
Georg Denzer (born February 7, 1942 in Annweiler am Trifels ) is a German CDU local politician . From 1981 to 2005 he was District Administrator of the Main-Tauber District .

Political career
Denzer was born on February 7, 1942 in Annweiler am Trifels ( Rhineland-Palatinate ). He studied in Saarbrücken , Tübingen and Heidelberg Jura . The clerkship he graduated in Heidelberg and Mannheim . He then worked in the district office of the Lake Constance district before moving to the Federal Ministry of the Interior in Bonn for a year . Later Denzer worked for four years as head of administration of the Baden-Württemberg riot police in Göppingen . When he saw no more career opportunities there, he applied as first state official (as deputy) and later as district administrator of the Main-Tauber district.
From 1978 to 1981 Denzer was the first state civil servant to act as the deputy of his predecessor Bruno Rühl in the Main-Tauber district, which emerged in 1973 from the Tauberbischofsheim and Mergentheim districts . From 1981 on he led the Main-Tauber district himself. His tenure included the construction of the Bosch test route near Boxberg , the securing of the Taubertal Railway , the development of the district's own vocational schools into school centers (in Bad Mergentheim , Tauberbischofsheim and Wertheim ) and the acquisition of the Bronnbach Monastery .
During the Corpus Christi flood on June 21, 1984, District Administrator Denzer had to trigger the first and so far only disaster alarm in the Main-Tauber district.
In 2005, Denzer retired after 24 years as the district administrator of the Main-Tauber district.
Denzer is currently working as a consultant for the Westfrankenbahn , the Niederstetten military airfield , and Ebm-papst in Mulfingen . In addition, he acts as a bioenergy ambassador for the HOT region (Hohenlohe, Odenwald, Tauber), is on the Supervisory Board of Sport Marketing Tauberbischofsheim GmbH and a member of the Agricultural Machinery Ring .
