Georg Hodakowsky

Georg Hodakowsky (born February 3, 1917 in Riga ) is or was a Baltic chess player .

Still living in Riga, he won the German Employees' Cup in Latvia. After the resettlement he became master of occupied Łódź . He participated in the German individual championship and was multiple national champion of Hamburg. The coveted trophy The Silver Tower 1957 (held in 1956/57, today: Dähne Cup ) was won by him. For the Hamburg SG BUE he was registered for the Bundesliga chess league in the 1986/87 season .

Its highest historical rating was 2506 in October 1947.
