Herbert Vetter
Herbert Vetter (born September 6, 1957 ) is a German chess player . He was the 1980 Dähne Cup winner.

Herbert Vetter played as a youth at the 13th German Youth Championship in 1975 in Frankfurt am Main for the Middle Rhine Chess Association, which was runner-up.
He took part in the German individual chess championship 1980 in Bad Neuenahr , which Eric Lobron won. He also played in the championship of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1981 in Niederdreisbach , which Peter Ostermeyer won ahead of Ralf Lau . In Südlohn 1981 he participated in the Junior Championship part of the Chess Federation NRW that Klaus Bischoff won.
Team fights
He played team chess in the German Chess League in the 1981/82 season for the Düsseldorf SG Rochade . In the mid-1980s and early 1990s he played for SF 47 Monheim . With Düsseldorf and Monheim he took part in team fights in the NRW class and the NRW leagues.
Others
He is a member of the Langenfeld Chess Friends Association in 1933 . His highest rating was 2303 in July 2006.
