Klaus-Jürgen Schulz (born September 17, 1960 ) is a German chess player . He was the 1983 Dähne Cup winner.

Klaus-Jürgen Schulz took part in the German individual youth championship in 1979 in Tönisvorst.

Nine years later he came third at the Bad Wörishofen Chess Festival in 1988.

He played team chess in the German Federal Chess League for SV 03/25 Koblenz , SG Porz , SG Bochum 31 and SC Remagen . In the game seasons 1982/83 , 1983/84 , 1984/85 , 1985/86 and 1989/90 he played for SV 03/25 Koblenz . In the game seasons 1986/87 , 1987/88 and 1988/89 he played for SG Porz . In the 1991/92 , 1992/93 andIn 1993/94 he played for SG Bochum 31 . He played for SC Remagen in the 2006/07 , 2007/08 , 2008/09 , 2009/10 , 2010/11 and 2011/12 season .

In Belgium he played for KSK 47 Eynatten , with whom he was champion in the 2003/04 season . He also took part in team fights for KSK 47 Eynatten in the 2004/05 , 2005/06 , 2007/08 , 2008/09 , 2009/10 and 2010/11 season .

In 2008 he took part in the European Club Cup . He also played in the second German Bundesliga and the Oberliga Südwest.

Others

He has been an international champion since 1986 and a member of the SC Heimbach-Weis / Neuwied association . His highest rating was 2440 (July 1986).
