Bjorn Bente
Björn Bente (born February 15, 1974 ) is a German chess player . He was the 2015 Dähne Cup winner.

Björn Bente played at the Hamburg State Championship in 1993.
Since 2003 he has been taking part in the German Amateur Chess Championships. In 2004 he played in Verden (Aller) at the state championship of Lower Saxony. He took part in the 2004 European Championships in Antalya , which Vasyl Ivanchuk won. and 2007 in Dresden (winner Vladislav Tkachiev ). He also played at the ZMD Open 2006 in Dresden.
He was sixth at the German Individual Chess Championship 2016 in Lübeck , which Sergei Kalinitschew won.
Team fights
He played team chess at the college team championships in 1994 and 1998.
For the Hamburg chess club from 1830 he plays in German cup team championships and since 1995 in the Oberliga Nord.
Others
He is a FIDE master (since 2015) and a member of the Hamburger SK association . His highest rating was 2314 (April 2017).
