Gerd F. Schultze (born August 14, 1955 in Seehausen , Altmark ) is a German producer , director and author .

biography

Gerd F. Schultze grew up in Bonn-Bad Godesberg , where he also graduated from high school. He then studied journalism , photo and film design in Dortmund. This was followed by over 20 years at WDR , where he worked as a producer and director of the program Rockpalast . In his role as a senior producer, he played a key role in setting up the entertainment department at RTL Television , for which, among other things, he designed the first German casting show Match . As an author, director, producer and managing director of Music-Delight Productions GmbH, Schultze had a number of TV, music and entertainment formats such as Rocklife (WDR / HR ), Music Hall (HR / MDR ), Backstage ( SAT1 ), RockTL (RTL) or PopcornLive (SRTL) produces. On behalf of the Hessian State Chancellery , he designed the pop and rock program for various Hessentage with bands such as the Blues Brothers , Saga or the Hooters and was responsible for the overall production of the Hessischer Rundfunk (TV). Schultze shot music videos, music specials and live concerts, for example.
