The 1986 Girabola was the eighth season of the Girabola , the top division of football in Angola . 14 teams took part, each of which competed against each other twice.

Petro Luanda from the capital Luanda became the master for the third time. The GD Interclube , also from the capital, was first Angolan Cup winner and then also won the Angolan Super Cup , with two 1: 0 wins against the champions Petro Luanda.
