The Girabola 1992 was the 14th season of Girabola , the top division in football in Angola . 16 teams took part, each of which competed against each other twice. In the following 1993 season , only 12 teams competed. In addition, at the end of this 1992 season, six clubs were relegated and two promoted.

Primeiro de Agosto from the capital Luanda won the championship like last year. Petro Luanda won the Angolan Cup and then the Angolan Supercup against champion Primeiro de Agosto.

Petro Luanda's striker Amaral Aleixo was the 1992 top scorer with 20 goals after being the top scorer for Sagrada Esperança in 1991.

table

Presumably due to the turmoil and destruction of the Angolan civil war (1975–2002), hardly any data are recorded for the season and no detailed final table has been preserved. Finally, only the three first places and the six relegated teams are listed in a final table that is not noted further.
