Girabola 1986

The Girabola 1987 was the ninth season of the Girabola , the top division of football in Angola . 14 teams took part, each of which had to compete against each other twice. Due to storms and security problems in connection with the Angolan civil war (1975-2002), not all games could take place and were therefore not rated. The reason for the relegation of the Progresso do Sambizanga instead of the Dínamo Kwanza Sul at the end of the season is also not noted.

Petro Luanda from the capital Luanda won the championship again. He also won the Angolan Cup and then the Angolan Supercup .

The top scorer was Huíla's striker Mavó with 20 goals.
