The Girabola 1984 was the sixth season of the Girabola , the top division of football in Angola . 14 teams took part, each of which competed against each other twice.

Petro Luanda from the capital Luanda became champion for the second time after 1982. The CD Primeiro de Agosto was the first Angolan cup winner . There was no meeting in a Supercup , the first edition of the Angolan Supercup was not held until the following year.

Petro Luanda's striker Jesus was the top scorer with 22 goals, having previously won that title in the 1982 season , with 21 goals at the time.
